In Michigan, all physicians wishing to dispense medications must obtain a drug control license, regardless of if they plan to prescribe controlled substances. Michigan physician dispensing regulations also require paying a fee (ranging from $46.80-$88.40, depending upon when the license is set to expire). There is an additional fee for a physician who will dispense controlled substances (range of $88.40-$244.40 dependent upon when the license is set to expire)
